“Umm, Papa...”

“Yes?”

Nonaka Arisu fidgeted under the handsome, magnificent presence of the man she called Papa. “Are…are you sure it’s okay for you to be here?”

“Is there somewhere else I should be?”

“Ah, no…” It was strange, how she always became this meek, overly self-conscious kitten in front of him. “I mean…Papa is a busy person, so I wouldn’t want to take up your time like this…this…this is my job…the job Papa gave me, so…”

Takato chuckled at the girl’s struggles to shape up proper sentences. “You silly girl.”

The red-haired thirteen-year-old squeaked when the taller man effortlessly lifted her and placed her on his lap.

“You should know by now that there’s nothing in this world more important to me than you, Arisu.”

Butterflies fluttered inside Arisu’s body as her cheeks took the deepest, strongest shade of crimson they knew. “Pa-Pa-Pa-Paaa…hau.”

“Not even me?”

The two turned to the small femme standing proudly under the door frame.

“Not even you, Lilith,” Takato declared. “I have no favorites amongst my most beloved.”

Takako grinned happily before making her way to the man’s lap. Takato blessed the two lovelies seated on his thighs with his most affectionate smile.

“Onii-chan…”

“P-Papa…”

The two girls shuddered and leaned on Takato’s chest after he planted a delicate, tender kiss on the pair’s foreheads. “Now, let’s get to work. Will you help us, Lilith?”

“Hai…” Takato could have told her to impale herself with Merodach and she would not have hesitated.

“Thank you. I’ll make it up to you later.”

Takako squeezed her thighs together and inhaled deeply to keep the blood from pouring out of her nostrils. That…that was…was he…?

“Ah…ah, umm…hau.”

Takato chuckled. “Of course, Sophia, I won’t forget to reward you for a job well done.”

Arisu could not get any redder. Just what was she thinking he would do? Seriously, she spent way too much time with Takako.

“Now…” Takato insisted, yet at the same time his gentle hands stroke the two’s hairs with almost sedative power. “Let us begin.”

What were Takato’s Nightmares in Gospel 00 about? I assume they were causes by Moloch, as he sent Dreams to that one guy in the Ruby Ring as well.

Takato: “That was never very clear, now that you bring it up. If I had to guess, though, I’d say it was Satan behind the dreams, not Moloch. I say this because Moloch was the active one until the Day of Revelation, and the dream-shaping power can only be used by the one who is “resting”. Then again, it could have been some other Supernal. I really don’t know.”

Takako: “I wonder which guy in ‘The Ruby Ring’ is he talking about…?”

Takato: “Leraje, I presume?”

Takako: “Ah, right, right. I forgot. You know I don’t pay attention to cannon fodder.”

Takato: “Cannon fodder you say…”

If so, why did Moloch stop?

Takato: “Whoever it was, he got bored, maybe? Or maybe he just realized he was accomplishing nothing. Or maybe, as I gained more and more awareness of my power, my resistance –that thing the XANADU system calls ‘Reality Reversal’– reached the point where he could not attack me with nightmares anymore. Or maybe Alice does have nightmare-negating powers, after all.”

Takako: “Yeah, they’re called ‘post-coital tiredness’.”

Takato: “U-Ugh…”

Is messing with people’s dreams one of Moloch’s powers?

Takako: “Nightmare weaving is a rather common Demon Art, especially amongst the weakest, nameless demons, who use it as a corrupting tool. Like onii-chan stated before, Moloch and Satan can also use it, but at any given point in time only the “sleeping” one of the two can use it. If they are both awake and split in separate bodies, then neither can use this technique. It’s a very odd restriction, which probably explains why their nightmare-weaving is particularly powerful. There are lesser demons with greater skill with this technique, though. After yours truly, the foremost specialist in nightmare weaving is probably my daughter, Agrat bat Mahlat.”

How did Moloch get along with others before the rebellion?

Arisu: “Ano…well…Moloch was a nice child…well, they all were at that time. If there was something odd about him it was…well…he was rather…zealous. He wanted to be strong; as strong as his Father. He wanted this so desperately it was harming his relationship with his fellows. He began to look down on everyone as lazy, boring angels who were not willing to aim for more. He and his brother began to believe that only they deserved to be powerful; that nobody else was worthy of the power they possessed. As a mother, I was worried, but I believe they would come to understand there is a proper time and proper way for everything, personal growth included. But then Lucifer proclaimed his Libertia_Gospel and…”

What are Lucifer’s Agenda’s?

Takako: *laughs* “Oh man…oh God, this is rich.”

Takato: “Don’t be mean, Lilith. Arisu, can you take it?”

Arisu: “Ha-hai, of course. Ano…Lucifer’s Agendas are Light, Dawn, Manners and Respect. He did not lose the Agenda of Respect after the War, but it ceased to respond to him, so he was not able to use its power until recently.”

What is his Level?

Arisu: “Lucifer’s level, according to the XANADU classification, is 36.”

How did Lucifer and Michael get along before the Fall?

Arisu: “Oh, they were really close. They are both very elegant and graceful, so watching them together was like watching two princes taking a stroll.”

Takako: “Or two escorts from a host club.”

Arisu: “Ah…haa. Anyway, Shekinah has always been very proud of them. Their serene attitude and the way they supported each other was very commendable…even attractive to some.”

Takako: “Hoo…so Sophia likes that type…”

Arisu: “A-A-Auntie! I ne-ne-never…I would never…!”

Takako: “Alright, alright, calm down, sheesh.”

What did Lucifer and Michael think of their parents?

Takako: “These questions get really repetitive after a while.”

Takato: “I agree.”

Takako: “Maybe he should start caring more for his own parents before he starts asking about the parents of others.”

Arisu: “A-Auntie Takako…”

Takato: “Besides, how are we supposed to know, anyway? I’d like to think my children love me, but I will not be as haughty as to speak in their stead.”

What did they think of the fact that their Father had more than one wife?

Takato: ‘”Does anybody even care about that?”

Takako: “Would caring even make a difference?”

Takato: “Yeah, I mean, it’s not like polygamy is frowned upon in Paradise, anyway. It’s just that most feel more comfortable with a single partner.”

Takako: “Or none at all.”

Takato: “Or none at all. Speaking of multiple partners, Lucifer also had a several consorts before the War, didn’t he?

Takako: “Yes. And I remember Uriel had a reverse harem of her own for a while.”

Takato: “Uriel? Really?”

Takako: “Hmm. That little one is dangerous, I tell you.”

Arisu: “I don’t think she’s with anyone right now, though.”

Raziel is one of Shekinah’s Children, right?

Takako: “No. Idiot.”

Takato: “Lilith…”

Raziel once fell in love with Sophia. What did Adam think of that?

*Takako and Arisu perk up as the temperature in the room drops several degrees.*

Takato: “Raziel…did what?

Takako: *chuckles* “Ara, you didn’t know? It was about-“

Arisu: “AUNTIE!” *nervous* “Ah, Papa, it wasn’t…really, you don’t really have to…ahh…umm…”

Takato: “…if you will…if you will excuse me…it seems I have to make a short trip. Yes…a short trip.” *Boundary travel*

Takako: “Waaa, onii-chan! I’ll go with you! I wouldn’t miss this for anything!” *disappears*

Arisu: “Wa-wa-wa-wa-waaah! Papa! Auntie!” *pouts* “Muu…please be strong, Uncle Takeru.”

What is Samael’s position in Hell relative to Moloch’s?

Arisu: “Umm…positions in Hell are rather…pointless. There’s no real point to the titles they use: ‘Duke’, ‘Earl’ and so on. It’s might makes right…yeah.

Samael had no authority in Hell beyond his own power. He could gather servants among the lesser demons because he was mightier than them. Even his position as the father of the first generation of demons had no real significance anymore.”

You once told me Samael isn’t one of Sophia’s children. Who’s child is he? I assume Shekinah.

Arisu: “I have to agree with Takako…you make odd assumptions. What makes you think us three are the only ones capable of having children? There is an entire Hierarchy of Heaven, and it doesn’t include Adam Kadmon and us wives.”

How strong is Samael?

Arisu: “I guess it depends on your definition of strength. Strength is subjective, after all. To you, human, there is no Supernal that is not strong. To me, Sophia, a demon of Samael’s level would be a minor annoyance at most. Of course, when I met him as Nonaka Arisu I was terrified. I had no power, and he had both power and numbers. I thought ‘if Auntie Takako is obeying him, he must be very strong, right?’

It mattered not in the end. Samael is no more, annihilated as he was by Auntie Takako.”

You said that among the Strongest Supernals, Level didn’t matter so much as other factors. In that case, how would you say the Aspects measure up to each other?

Arisu: *chuckles* “Yet another of these ‘power level’ questions you like so much. How cute.

Presently, I would say we can generally agree it’s something like Sandalphon < Metatron = Shekinah < Sophia < Lilith < Adam.

Auntie Takako might not like it, but it’s the way it is. She still has the highest destructive power in Creation, but not even she can defeat Adam. Not anymore.

I do not include Micael because, in all honesty, the extent of her combat potential is still unknown. She’s not really a combative Supernal.”

How strong are the Archangels when they work together?

Arisu: “They can use Introspective Resonance Pseudo-Protocols. So, what do you think?

Now, seriously, some like Kamael and Raphael are more adept at teamwork than the others, but in general they all can work together very well.”

How strong are the Archdemons?

Arisu: “Maa…their cooperation is usually on a strategic and logistic level, not in aiding each other in a fight. But I guess two people are always better than one, ne?

I wouldn’t know why a human would want to know such things, though.”

You said that Moloch doesn’t trust Satan. If so, why do they work together so often?

Arisu: “Haa…they are Duality. They are a single concept split in two entities. Two halves of a complete whole. They can share the same body; occupy the same space in violation of the most fundamental law of matter. They can Incarnate in a single individual and split their mortal frame into two identical copies. Even if they don’t trust each other, even if they plot against each other, it would be unwise of them not to stay together.”

Did Moloch trust anyone prior to his fall?

Arisu: “He trusted everyone. He might have looked down on his peers, but he had no doubts about their honesty and loyalty to their fellows. It would be like denying himself, really.”

How strong is Moloch relative to, say, Metatron, since you said he has ‘reached the limit of what his Agendas allowed him’?

Arisu: “What does one thing have to do with the other? I don’t get it.

According to the XANADU classification, they both have the same Supernal level. While this numerical label you humans place on us Supernals is rather bland, it is fairly accurate. Auntie Takako helped create the database, after all. It is safe for you to assume, then, that they currently have the same general level of combat ability. Of course, combat ability may fluctuate according to specific circumstances, but such nuances would be impossible to quantify anyway.

Also, it seems you are the victim of a misunderstanding. At the time of the Original Holy War, Moloch did not have the amount of power he currently has. He was just a particularly strong and ambitious Angel, remember? Not even Archangel-level. But even back then we could tell his talents went on a different direction from standard Supernal combat.

Anyway, Aspect-level Supernals do not grow in trees. They are made. Such is the will of my Beloved Father.”

Why hasn’t Moloch taken any other Agendas?

Arisu: “Saa, I do not know. Maybe he has tried and Agendas simply do not like him. Maybe the Agendas he wants are in the possession of Supernals he does not want to fight, or Supernals who are good at hiding. Maybe he’s just not compatible with any other Agenda. There could be any number of reasons.”
