“Umm, well…” Taking a look at the sheet of paper in her hands, the blonde woman nodded to herself and addressed her audience. “At Takato’s behest, I will be in charge of tonight’s Q&A session. I still don’t know why he wants me to do such a thing, but oh well. I can’t say no to that stupid smile of his.”

“I love you too, Alice.”

“I’m here, you know.”

“I love you too, Rika.”

“Muu…”

“…You know I love you too, Takako.”

“Te-he-he!”

“Can we move on, please?”

“Oh, I love you too, Ruki-“

“BE QUIET ALREADY!”

“…Ahem,” Alice continued. “I had no direct role in GOSPEL besides that of Takato’s wife-“

“EX-wife.”

“Shut your trap, Nonaka. As I was saying, I did not have an active role in the Holy War, so I don’t know how much I can contribute to this session. Please bear with me.”

A brief round of applause followed.

What was Arisu asking Alice in the Prologue of Gospel 01?

Arisu: “If I’m not mistaken, I was asking you how I was conceived, Auntie Alice.”

Alice: “Indeed. A most uncomfortable question for me, I may add.”

Rika: “Why would you ask Miss USA and not your own mother?”

Arisu: “You were not around.”

Rika: “………

Terriermon: “Ooooh, you got Sophia’d!”

Takato: “What the hell is that supposed to-no, wait, just shut up.”

Takako: “Well, I eventually answered that question for you, so all’s well that ends well!”

*Uncomfortable silence*

Ruki: “…You’re a horrible person, Lilith.”

Takako: “Yeah, tell me something I don’t know.”

What would change if Adam had been created by Chaos and Lilith by Balance? Assuming their Agenda’s remained the same.

Alice: “Takako, be quiet.”

Takako: “Tch. You know me well.”

Arisu: “Hmm, well…our idea of a Higher Entity composed of ‘Balance’ and ‘Chaos’ has been drastically altered by recent discoveries and revelations, so…umm…I guess this question makes no sense anymore, does it?”

Takato: “Indeed it doesn’t.”

Takako: “And I thought I was good at long-term planning. I’ve said it dozens of times before, but, onii-chan, I’m humbled by your awesomeness.”

Takato: “It’s why I have the Agenda of Supremacy, my beloved sister.”

What were the Chosen Children’s reactions when they found that Taichi was still alive?

Shinobu: “Ah, ahahaha…” *sweatdrops*

Alice: “Taichi, if you don’t mind.”

Taichi: “Suddenly I get the spotlight, huh? Well, it was in the middle of a fight, so the impact was a bit dampened by all the shit going on all over the place. After the battle, though…God damn it, who would have thought computer geeks could hit that hard?”

Takako: “Koushiro was awesome until the very end. He’s at the top of my very short list of ‘Badass Humans’. He must have gotten an Agenda. I mean, come on!”

Arisu: “Koushiro-san must have been really incredible, for Auntie Takako to admire him so…”

Takato: *nods* “Aah. Izumi Koushiro was amazing in his own way.”

Takako: “BADASS way!”

Takato: “…Yes, Takako. Badass way. Back to the question.”

Taichi: “Yeah. Well…of course everyone was pretty shocked. Sora must have switched between happy and angry like seven times or something. I guess it was good Matt was not around; he would have probably kicked my ass. Hikari was elated. I thought she reacted very nicely to my sudden appearance. I should have known she was waiting for the best possible time to vent her anger.”

Terriermon: “Ooh, I remember! The Digimon Battle Arena; that was hilarious!”

Taichi: “Sora was awfully perceptive. She was always more mature than I’ve ever been. She asked me if she was the reason I left in the first place. And she was right.”

Shinobu: “Taichi-sama…”

Taichi: “She was the reason I faked my death, but she was not the reason I decided to stay dead. I fell in love with my life as a hermit, ya know. I was pretty damn willing to stay a vagabond for the rest of my life…and then Shinobu barged her way into my life. And she showed me just how much I was missing in my life.”

Shinobu: “Ah…Taichi-sama…” *blushes*

Takako: “That took you quite a while, though.”

Taichi: “You killed her! You killed my Shinobu!”

Takako: “You’ll never get over that, will ya?”

What were everyone’s reactions when they learnt Takato was alive?

Alice: “That was one of the best and worst days of my life.”

Rika: “You mean the slap, don’t you?”

Alice: “You know just how much I used to enjoy slapping you, Nonaka. It was stress-relieving.”

Takato: “Well, of course, everyone was marveled by my astoundingly heroic appearance. I think there’s a picture of Rika’s face somewhere.”

Rika: “Jerk.”

Takato: “I saved your lovely ass that day. Be grateful.”

Henry: “You should be grateful you ended up in the hospital. It’s the only reason Ryo and I didn’t beat you silly.”

Takato: “I think Jeri fainted.”

Jeri: “I think you should shut up.”

Takato: “And it was on live TV to boot! My appearance, not Jeri fainting.”

Suzie: “I knew it was you the whole time, so I was just happy you were back with us.”

Takato: “The reunion in the observation room was pretty nice. Rika was awfully quiet the whole time, but I knew she was saving her words for the moment we ended up alone. Who would have thought it would be that same night?”

Alice: “…night?”

Takato: “She tried to kiss me.”

Rika: “I didn’t try anything. I kissed you for like fifteen seconds.”

Takato: “I pushed you away in less than four.”

*TWACK!*

*Some gasps*

Rika: “McCoy! You just slapped me!”

Alice: “Well what were you expecting, you little husband-kissing tramp?”

Rika: “EX-HUSBAND! You don’t have any reason to lash at me anymore!”

Alice: “It’s the principle of the thing.”

What about when they learnt he was married?

Alice: “There is definitely a picture of that. I know because I took it.”

Rika: “Bitch.”

Alice: “It was one of those moments that simply must be captured for posterity, Nonaka. I carried a camera in my purse for that very purpose.” *smirks* “Yeah, I remember…the elation I felt when you demanded to know what my relationship with Takato was. The emotion that filled me when I reached for my purse and said the words ‘I’m his wife’. And then ‘click’. It was perfect.”

Rika: “I hate you so much.”

Terriermon: *claps*

Henry: “Terriermon…”

Terriermon: “Hey, you gotta give it to her; it was fucking brilliant.”

Alice: “It was my opus.”

Takako: “You should have stayed with Alice, onii-chan. She’s pretty awesome when she’s evil.”

Takato: “Ahaha, haa…this is uncomfortable-please don’t give me that look, Rika, dear.”

Suzie: “Why did you name your daughter after her again, Rika?”

How did Hirokazu cope with the pain from the Hazard?

Takako: “Haven’t seen that guy for a while…what is Slave Number 2 up to anyway?”

Arisu: *sweatdrops* “Slave Number 2…”

Takako: “And what kind of silly question is that, anyway? He had to bear with until it went away, period. If he couldn’t handle a little bit of pain for a few months then he didn’t deserve the power I gave him.”

Takato: “A little pain you say…”

Each of the Omnivice Traits that we saw Materialize (or Dematerialize in Pauline’s case) had certain special effects. Maria’s was fire, and Pauline disappeared into Cherry Blossoms. What were the other’s?

Alice: “Well, I can answer that. If memory doesn’t fail me…Ayla’s effect was white feathers, Astaroth…right, she became blood and sank into the ground.”

Takako: “I can do that too!”

Alice: “Whatever. Shinobu became Technicolor butterflies.”

Shinobu: *sweatdrops* “Tech…Technicolor…”

Alice: “Misaki simply jumped and sank into the ground…oh, Helena’s was my favorite. With the lasers and stuff.”

Takako: “…I wish I could do that.”

Alice: “Greedy bitch. Anyway, Helena appeared by means of these really cool lasers that quickly drew the features of her body, somehow like a hologram. And Luna, of course, used silvery light.”

Arisu: “What about Ruki?”

Ruki: *blushes deeply* “Ah…ah…well…uh-umm…only Takato saw that one…”

Takato: “When I slashed the Kether Card, right. It was pretty damn flashy, but I won’t deny I loved it.”

Ruki: “Ugh-uhh…do-don’t say embarrassing things like that! Jerk!”

Rika: “What the hell…?”

Takato: “It’s a shame we never saw Aisa-chan’s…”

Takako: “Don’t give me that look. And don’t avoid the topic!”

How do these special effects relate to their owners powers?

Alice: “They were just visual cues that served absolutely no purpose other than looking pretty. The only one with a deeper meaning was Shinobu’s. Maria’s being fire was just a coincidence, but it fit pretty well with Rika and with the Sephiroth Card.”

Takato: “Maybe too well if you ask me…”

Rika: “Don’t tell me you’re still dwelling on that.”

Takato: “It fuckin’ hurt! Your Sephiroth Card fucking HURT!”

Where did Philippan come from? Where did Sanglamore come from?

Alice: “Ugh…do we really need to answer these? I mean, I can understand the questions on Supernal things and the War, but this? He can do at least this bit of research, can’t he?”

Takako: “I’ve said it before; I’ll say it again: humans are lazy and stupid.”

Alice: “I’m here you know.”

Henry. “So am I.”

Jeri: “I know, sweetheart.”

Shinobu: “Shi…Shinobu is human, too…”

Takako: “Okay, Shinobu; you’re not lazy. I’ll give you that.”

Shinobu: “Ah-thank you very much, Takako-sa-wait. Hauuu…”

Takako: “I rest my case.”

Takato: “Okay, okay, I’ll take care of this later…maybe.”

In Gospel 01 Chapter 7, Takako calls Kitsune a Hypocrite. Could you explain why? I would understand most insults, but I don’t see any hypocrisy. Takato does the same thing later on, but I don’t understand that either. Same goes for Takako calling the Royal Knight Hypocrites.

Rika: “I think the loli has called everybody a hypocrite at some point.”

Takako: “Oh stuff it. I obviously was referring to the fact that, while he was going to such an extent to minimize the collateral damage done by his abominations, he apparently had no qualms about killing a little girl. Anyone with a nanogram of brain matter could have figured that out.”

Arisu: “Do you always have to add an insult to your sentences, Auntie?”

Takako: “You never complain about my speech patterns when we’re alone in the bedroom, Arisu dear.”

Arisu: *blushes deeply* “A-A-A-Taka-aaah-”

Rika: *bangs head on table repeatedly*

Speaking of hypocrisy, why was Takato so upset at Kitsune for creating Digimon? Takato did the same thing. Twice.

Also, everyone in Gospel 01 expressed disgust (or annoyance, or whatever) at the Fake Digimon. Why? I mean, sure, they were nothing but data put together because of a human. But that’s basically what all Digimon are. The only difference is that the Fakes were made intentionally, right?

Takako: “When I thought I had witnessed the limit of his stupidity…”

Suzie: “You’re gonna make this person hate you, ya know.”

Takako: “What makes you think I give a damn?”

Takato: “What my sister means is that it was made clear at several points that Kitsune’s creations were not Digimon. Kitsune just happened to make them look like Digimon.”

Rika: “Really, the black goo thingy was a pretty damn good hint.”

Takato: “Unlike normal Digimon as well as the Nightmare, Jörmungandr had no free will and it acted out a long script defined by Kitsune’s programming. The code itself was a completely original creation of Kitsune, just sparsely inspired by the Monster Makers’ original work.”

Jeri: “I guess it’s like the general opinion on genetically-engineered babies.”

Ruki: “Hnnd. There’s a big discussion on that nowadays, isn’t there?”

Takako: “Ooh, I might have found the topic for my next seminar!”

Alice: “Please don’t share your sick ideas with the world, you monster.”

In Gospel 01, something confused me. The fight between Alice and Rika…isn’t Rika employed by the government? So isn’t it well within her rights to ask question about matters related to Digimon? Especially to suspicious people (Alice) in suspicious places (near where the Mansion was) who have (as far as she knows) multiple Digimon? Alice said she wasn’t a policewoman, but in situations like that isn’t she within her rights to act like one? If not, then how exactly does the position of 'Digimon Tamer' work?

Alice: “Haa…good times, good times.”

Rika: “Bitch.”

Alice: “Nonaka. Anyway, I’ll turn your logic back at you, mister questioner. Public teachers and scientists at public universities are employed by the government. Is it within their rights to forcefully interrogate people on matters related to education and science? The Digimon Tamers were, indeed, ‘government officers’. However, they never were law enforcers or investigators. Their role was always limited to ‘beat the bad Digimon and let the adults deal with the rest’. They were never supposed to try pathetic imitations of ‘good cop, bad cop’.”

Rika: “You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?”

Alice: “Every second of it. And how was I suspicious anyway?”

Rika: “You had a Digimon and were all mean and creepy!”

Alice: “I should slap you for that.”

Therefore, didn’t Alice assault, physically and verbally, a government official who was doing her job? As well as threaten her with Dobermon? After she had been wounded in action? I admit to knowing nothing about the Laws in Japan, but…isn’t that illegal or something?

Rika: “That makes sense to me.”

Alice: “You were just playing hero of justice. Unlike you, I was already a responsible, mature married woman.”

Takato: *coughs harshly*

Alice: “And I wasn’t the one recklessly throwing fire around, I reckon.”

Rika: “Can we switch to another topic already?”

Though…now that I think about it…why didn’t anyone try to stop Alice? I mean, Jeri, Ryo, Kenta, and DC were right there, and only DC knew Alice was Takato’s wife. Were they that tired? Did all them forget all of their Seed of Health (or similar) cards that day? Hell, not even Renamon tried to do anything! Sure, Renamon knows Alice is related in some way to Takato, but doesn’t she usually back Rika up? Why did she just stand around while her (injured) Best Friend was beaten, insulted, and threatened five feet away?

Rika: “Apparently not. But this is another good question. Why didn’t you stand up for me, you bastards?”

Alice: “I’m pretty sure Renamon was faring even worse than you.”

Takato: “Even after receiving boost cards, her first time experiencing Rika’s divine power hit her pretty hard.”

Jeri: “And we got really beat up in that fight, I remember. Seed of Health is not a cure-all panacea.”

Takako: “It would be pretty broken if it were. You still didn’t know any Healing Techniques back then.”

Jeri: “You taught me the basics in the First Battle of Tokyo.”

Suzie: “Pretty damn good timing, I had just lost my fucking arm.”

Takako: “And lung.”

Suzie: “Yeah, that too.”

Alice: “Allow me to bring out the topic of big fucking fireballs one more time.”

Rika: “Shut up already!”

And, on the topic of Alice being upset, why was Alice so upset even after Takato rescued her in 01? She was uninjured, she’d been fed, and the room she was in was probably nicer then her hotel.

Alice: “You’re a guy, aren’t you? What woman would not be upset after her honeymoon was reduced to reading newspapers and dealing with insufferable redheads?”

Rika: “Really, shut up. And I didn’t get a honeymoon at all!”

Takato: “You didn’t, did you? Hmm…a shame…”

Rika: “Don’t talk like it’s none of your business!”

In Gospel 02, the fight between Takato, Taichi, and Takeru ends in a draw because of the ‘energy Takato wasted and the damage he took’. But they were in the Digital World, meaning none of that should matter, right? So why did it?

Takako: “You know, I wondered about that too, onii-chan.”

Takato: “Well it wouldn’t be fair to use that all the time. I wouldn’t have progressed as fast as I did if I relied on the Digital World supplying me the whole time. Besides, I was trying to decelerate its collapse after the loss of Yggdrasil. Constantly draining its data would not really have helped matters much.”

Takako: “Haa. So it was my fault.”

Alice: “It’s always your fault, you bothersome loli.”
