A dangerous tool Sophia would like to claim, if only so that nobody else gets to use it. She has not found it anywhere else, and for this reason she strongly suspects it is inside Lilith’s Reality Script. She’s right, of course.

 

The Cup of Djemscheed is in fact an interface with SAMYA_JARA. The user needs knowledge of Reality Code to use, for it is the only way to communicate with the device. The cup is only compatible with EQUERIA_PROTOCOL. Thus, it cannot read information written in either MILCARNIA_PROTOCOL or COSMO_SUPERBIA_PROTOCOL.

 

The unknown, mercurial liquid in the cup acts as a screen that displays the incoming data from the Supernal Structures. The cup is basically a nigh-omniscient Personal Assistant. It does not reveal password-protected information. It does not reveal information from the Chamber of Guf. It does not reveal information requiring BRAHMA-level security clearance (such as the design code for all Forbidden Instruments and the seal that prevents their use, for example).
