Author’s Notes

 

The Program Micael executed at the end of her first Incarnation. The Code carries the meaning of “the truth only Adam Kadmon knows,” and “the future Adam Kadmon has decided upon learning that truth.” It is just a setup Technique to “prepare” Reality for the eventual execution of COSMO_INFERIA, but it is still quite a demanding Program.

 

On that note, the life Micael chose to live had nothing to do with this Program; in other words, there was no particular reason for Micael to execute it in those circumstances; he just had to do it before the time of his death. Micael simply wanted to witness “the corruption of humankind,” and thus tweaked events to become an object of envy and resentment.

The Basis

 

The Death of “God”

 

At the beginning—no, before the beginning, as time not yet existed—, “God” existed alone, watching over the countless Realities it had already created.

 

None of them were what it had expected. It was not sure what it was it expected, though. But it was not those…unstable worlds.

 

They made sense to a point: anarchy is the expected end of a Reality with a finite amount of matter and energy, and its final lifetime would be proportional to the amount of energy it gave to the fledgling universe. However, it was like circumstances always developed so that entropy increased in the fastest way possible.

 

It was almost disturbing. Were its Realities incapable of protecting their balance?

 

It appeared infinite potential was the only solution. However, God is the only infinite entity.

 

“I want to create a new cluster of Realities. One that will last and stand strong. One that will grow forever.”

 

Thus, God destroyed itself.

 

It should not be called an “explosion” the way the words “Big Bang” imply. God was infinite and thus he had no further “room” to “expand.” It simply “ceased to be God”, and what was left was its infinite, all-encompassing “raw” Existence.

 

Existence without order; nothing but the boundless potential for change and assumption of “shape”.

 

Chaos is Existence in its raw form.

 

Chaos is the corpse of God.

 

 

The Time Before Time

 

At the beginning, there was only Chaos. Of course, this is just a “name” given to “Existence without Concept”.

 

This raw Existence came from the “death of God”. However, God is all-powerful. This is why he only became Chaos upon “death” instead of completely “ceasing to be”. As such, it is the nature of the “remnants of God” to reassemble into their original Perfection. However, the remnants of God are not God, and thus cannot simply reform themselves into their original Perfect self.

 

From the endless formlessness that is Chaos, an island of order spontaneously emerged, as omni-dimensional as the original God, but only a “fragment” of an incoherent whole.

 

This fragment, for simplicity’s sake, will be called “Concept.”

 

The presence of Concept was the catalyst. With the existence of the concept of “Concept”, all other concepts could take shape from the formless Chaos.

 

There will always be a “hierarchy” in every group of objects. Even if the hierarchy consists of “we are all equal,” this could also be interpreted as “we are all at the highest level in the hierarchy.”

 

Even before concepts such as “Hierarchy” or even “Identity” could emerge, the concept of “the one above all others” surged from within raw Chaos. It made sense, for it is in its nature to always be number one.

 

With the two most fundamental concepts present, more fragments of Chaos began to separate from the shapeless soup and assume form. “Supremacy” was followed by “Existence”, which was followed by “Boundaries” which was then followed by “Identity”, which itself was followed by “Creation”, “Order (Balance)” and “Chaos”, and those by “Unity”, “Duality” and then “Multiplicity”. Of course, Time did not yet exist, and so assigning a temporal sequence to their ‘births’ does not make sense from a logical standpoint. It could be said that, even if they appeared ‘simultaneously’, Supremacy was most definitely the first.

 

It was the time before Time. It doesn’t have to make sense.

 

No more concepts would emerge after that. The reason was not unknown: concepts exist to be applied. This is why those few other concepts followed the emergence of the primordial two.

 

Supremacy “spoke”. It is not the appropriate word to use—after all, neither “Voice” nor “Speech” existed, or even “Communication”—, but it is the nature of Supremacy to ignore all limitations.

 

“I will create a Reality where everything is governed by my Order of Development.”

 

And thus “Development” and “Progress” were born.

 

Concept then “responded.”

 

“You are Supreme, and thus I will not prevent you from doing as you wish. However, let us work as well, under your command.”

 

 

The Beginning of Reality

 

This time, they planned. Not only which concepts had to emerge, but also in which order they had to do so. Creation and Existence planned for the formation of “Dimensions”, “Time” and “Space”, and then Boundaries separated the different dimensions and allowed Order to define different sets of “Laws” to govern them. Identity defined its universal connection to all the structured fragments of Chaos by inventing the concept of “Soul” and stating that every fragment would have a unique one. So that they could be more than mere “concepts” and have a means to somewhat direct how they would be used, they decided to change into “Agendas.” Then, they all worked together into creating multi-dimensional “vessels” for Agendas, which would be then called “Supernals,” and the rules which governed the relation between both. Development, as per the will of Supremacy, gave everything in Reality the capacity to make themselves better, thus creating “Potential”,  “Growth”, “Improvement” and “Evolution”.

 

They conceived innumerable concepts; a thorough plan for the Reality they wished to develop. However, Supremacy had a complaint.

 

“These ‘Supernals’ you have conceived might be good enough for lesser Agendas, but such beings would never be able to contain my Supreme Existence. I demand a worthy vessel.”

 

Concept “assented.” He had expected that.

 

“That will not be a problem. I will become your vessel.”

 

Concept could not know this, but it truly was the “fragment closest to the original God.” As such, it shared God’s wish. It wanted to be part of the new Reality—not just as an Agenda, but as an active, creating element. It wanted to see itself in every other fragment, and it wanted to experience all the other concepts they had created.

 

Supremacy might be content with “being Supreme,” but Concept wished to be everything else.

 

“Admiration” had already been conceived by this point, and it was probably this which drove other concepts to step forward. First among them was “Unity,” then “Creation” joined in, and those two were followed by three pairs of opposites: “Balance” and “Chaos”, “Order” and “Anarchy”, and “Good” and “Evil.”

 

These eight Agendas, together with Concept, would do as God did: they would “cease to be” so that they could together become the “raw material” for something new: a different being bound to the Reality Supremacy was about to create.

 

“Matter”, “Probability”, “Souls” and “Divinity” then stepped forward.

 

“We will not join you. However, we wish for you, the greatest and kindest of all vessels, to make us yours. We will proudly and lovingly prostrate before you, just like you have willingly chosen to prostrate before the Supreme.”

 

“Development” then spoke, not only in its own name, but in representation of the concepts it had conceived.

 

“We will not join you, nor will we ask you to claim us. We will craft a partner for you, a companion who will stand at the lowest, just like you have accepted to claim the highest place. By standing at the lowest of the low, she will push all others closer to you and, by permitting all others to reach for your greatness; she will be most exalted with the honor of standing by your side.”

 

And so, of the great original concepts, only Boundaries remained.

 

“Wha-wha—do-don’t tell me you’re expecting something from me!?”

 

Boundaries was…unique.

 

“Hmph! Aaaa—as if I would let myself being manhandled by the likes of you! Y-Y-Youuuu are not worthy! You hear me! Not worthy!”

 

“He is certainly worthy of my Supreme Existence,” Supremacy intervened.

 

“Waaaaaa—nobody asked you! The one who is to fully claim me has to reach for me and only me! He cannot desire any other power, claim no other power! He has to devote himself entirely to me! Depend on no other but me! Entrust his entire Existence to me! HE CAN LOVE NO OTHER AGENDA BUT ME!”

 

“…love…?”

 

“Aaaaaa-wa-wa-wa-SILENCE! IIIIII—have spoken!”

 

With that, all preparations were finished. Supremacy shared one last exchange with Concept.

 

“Whatever it is you become after this, you will no longer be what you are now. To you, everything will begin when Time starts its ceaseless flow. What you were before, how you became what you will become, those things will be beyond your grasp.”

 

“Do you fear the fate I have chosen, Supreme One?”

 

“Absolutely not. I am Supreme. And now, we shall be Supreme together.”

 

And thus Reality was born, and with it, the two great Aeons of this Reality.
