Rachel

Page history last edited by Daneel Rush 13 years, 4 months ago

The woman examined the walls, ceiling and floor around her with an austere gaze as she walked the many corridors of the Nonaka Household. It was preposterous for that place to still carry that name, but it was not her job to fix such inane issues.

She also examined herself, and the body she had received.

Everything that was her physical form was a construction; a frame for her existence to inhabit. Even her perception as a female being was artificial. Even beyond the metaphysical existence of Supernals, she was an entity to which the very concept of gender did not apply. The lustrous black hair, twice longer than she was tall; the narrow, deep violet eyes; the thin, colorless lips; the clean, unblemished white skin; the prominent curve of her D-cup breasts; the hourglass shape of her body; even the long formfitting deep purple one-piece, more suitable to a formal party than to everyday living—everything about her was built.

Just like the second Matsuki Takato, she was only a product of Seder Hishtalshelus.

He had asked for her input when creating her, but she had no input to give, and she would never complain. In the end, he had created her the same way he had given her form on that fateful day—the day he made her truly his.

She was supposedly not capable of experiencing emotions like humans and Supernals. However, she knew this was a baseless assumption.

Even she could bask and revel in the infinite magnitude of his glory.

Glancing to her right, she wondered about the silver-colored shoulder armor pads.

Master could be really odd at times.

“Auntie Takako? Auntie Takako, where did you go…?”

They met at the corner of two crossing corridors. Towering over thirty centimeters above her, the violet woman looked down at the suddenly very frightened girl.

“Sophia.”

Nonaka Arisu went deathly stiff at the world. Only her lips trembled as she tried to assimilate the sight before her.

“You-you-you-wha...wha…how…ah…!”

The red-haired girl scurried backwards, squeaking like a cornered mouse when her back hit the wall. There was plenty of space to her right to run away; she was just very scared.

The tall woman frowned, as it was the proper way to express befuddlement. She could not understand the Third Bride’s sudden inability to articulate, but she assumed it was meant to be cute somehow. That was Sophia’s thing, right? Being “cute”.

“Whuh…Ra…you…wheh?”

The woman decided to ignore the Third Bride’s incoherent speech.

“If I understand properly…” And of course she did. “…you seek the First Wife. Are you in need of my assistance, Sophia?”

“Ah…” While Arisu’s terrified expression appeared to be gradually replaced by mere surprise, she still needed a few seconds to recover her speech capabilities. “You…you are…”

Nonaka Rika’s daughter could not help but notice: this woman’s eyes were just like her mother’s.

The other woman moved a step closer to Arisu, intending to repeat her offer for aid.

“Get away from her, fuckin’ monster!”

Five overgrown black nails coated in vile dark energy clashed against a circular barrier of pure white to the woman’s left. She examined the opposing forces with an almost bored look at the same time she evaluated the effectiveness of the additional barriers she had placed in front of walls, floor and ceiling.

It would not do to tear apart Master’s temple with the shockwaves of their clash, after all.

“Lilith,” she muttered, trying to portray disappointment in her tone. “Your rudeness remains appalling as ever.”

Her attack completely repelled, Takako stood between Arisu and the woman somewhat protectively, all the while glaring bloody daggers.

“Your hostile attitude carries no purpose,” the woman continued. “Desist from engaging in aggressive behavior; I have no intention or interest in fighting you.”

“You think you can just waltz into our house like this!?” Takako spat, her face distorted into a rictus of rage even as she urged her hands to stop trembling.

“I do not see a problem with it.”

“Like hell it’s not a problem!”

“A-Auntie, I don’t think she’s—“

Takako invoked her Love’s Pain the moment the woman took another step forward and extended her hand. The hand moved past the barrier like it was not there and rested on the chestnut-haired girl’s forehead.

An instant later, they were standing in the middle of the residential complex’s large garden, startling the people already there.

“What the hell?” Kamiya Taichi exclaimed as he hurried to his feet, a just-as-startled Shinobu doing the same to his left.

“Hiiiiii!” The clumsy former Digivice Trait shrieked at the sight of the newcomer. “Tha-that-that is…!”

Matsuki Ruki put down her electronic reading device, narrowing her gaze and focusing her attention on the sudden apparition.

“You need to calm down, Lilith.”

“Don’t tell me what I need to do, bitch,” the smaller woman hissed. “I have a score to settle with you.”

The woman closed her eyes. It took her a moment to decide on the proper reaction: sighing.

“So it is about that. You do realize fighting will only lead to the same—“

Her sentence was interrupted by two small palms smashing her face.

“Shut up!”

A fierce explosion rocked the buildings housing the heroes of the Last Holy War.

A minute or so later…

“Oh, everyone’s already here, cool,” Matsuki Takato muttered to himself as he saw the backs of his friends by the edge of the inner garden. He then called out to them as he approached.

“Good news everyone!” He joyfully announced. “Guess who I brought—geh.”

Smack.

“Yeowch! Stop it!”

Smack.

“Gyah! Damn it…!”

It was not hard to understand why everyone was there. They were witnessing a scene truly out of this world.

“I…have truly seen everything now,” Ruki muttered, and Taichi next to her nodded.

“Hawaa…”

“Wrong setting, Shinobu, love.”

Smack.

“Hyan!” Takako’s little body jumped every time the woman’s hand fell on her reddened buttocks. Her movements impaired by some sort of seal—an empowered version of one of Sophia’s techniques, she assumed—, the Empress of Darkness could offer no resistance to this most unusual and unwelcome of punishments.

Smack.

“Hiii! Damn it, bitch! Only onii-chan gets to do this, and only when I’m feeling playful!”

Smack.

“Ow!”

“A-Auntie Takako…”

“Too many words, Takako...” a facepalming brother muttered tiredly. That was when his presence was noticed.

“I take it you can explain that,” Alice McCoy spoke in a tone even quieter than usual, a lone finger pointing at the woman doing the spanking.

“…do I have to?”

Alice stared at her ex-husband. It was a stare he was plenty acquainted with.

Staaaaaaare.

“Ugh…yeah, yeah.”

Stepping past the other denizens of the Nonaka Household, Takato walked into the garden proper to address the spanker and the spanked.

“O-Onii-chan!” Takako called out. “Stop her at once—“

Smack.

“Hyan!”

“Master,” the woman greeted.

“Hey,” Takato weakly replied. “So, umm…what are you doing?”

“I believe this is an efficient way to admonish disrespectful children.”

“I’m not a child!” Takako promptly complained.

“You look very much like one.”

“Shut up! Damn it, I’ll kill you!”

Takato sighed. “…anyway, stop that. You cannot just go around spanking Lilith of all people.”

“…understood.”

The moment she felt herself released from the restricting seal, Takako readied an attack…only to notice she could not tap into her immense power.

“Takako, please.”

The small girl in gothloli fashion glared at her beloved with bitter eyes.

“…tch.”

“Well then. Everyone!” Takato called out as he stood next to the woman, who had gotten back on her feet to stand to her Master’s left side. Takato placed a gentle hand on her right shoulder.

“As you can see, Rachel is back! She will be showing around from time to time to help me with this and that, so let’s all get along, okay?” He looked up at the woman, definitely the tallest person in that residence. “Hey, introduce yourself.”

“Why should I?” She responded. “I believe they are fully aware of who I am, Master.”

Takato facepalmed. This whole introduction scene had panned out so well in his mind…

“Another one,” Rika muttered, her knuckles cracking and her eyes burning with angelic fury.

“That bastard,” Alice added; her voice cold as ice and sharp as a razor.

Rachel has no definite parameters. Whenever numerical values would be relevant, she is governed by her Reality Protocol Axiom of Supremacy – Definition of Perfection (RACHEL=SUPERBIA_HALO).

Skills of note: as the embodiment of supremacy, Rachel excels at everything she does.

Languages: as the embodiment of supremacy, Rachel is able to communicate in every language.

Profile

Alignment: Lawful Neutral

  •  Rachel’s appearance was defined by Takato upon her creation. He wanted to give her a feeling of “a beautiful, awe-inspiring adult woman” which he admits his three Supernal wives currently lack—not that he will ever say such a thing to them.
  •  Save for the different hair/eye color scheme, Rachel looks somewhat like Takako’s adult form, yet Takato went to great lengths to make her clearly different from the other three. He considered that, with Takako being his twin sister, Arisu being his daughter and Ruki having being built using his own DNA as a framework, making Rachel look like him would have been the pinnacle of narcissism.
  •  Takato pronounces the name “Rachel” using the original Hebrew form רָחֵל (rāēl), and the others quickly picked it up as well, being generally easier for Japanese to pronounce than the English name.
  •  Rachel is a quiet, inexpressive person, defined only by her loyalty to her Master. She has truly accepted Takato as the Alpha entity, and her devotion to him is now unshakeable. Her sudden shift to an obedient, servile, almost submissive follower has utterly disturbed everyone but Takato, especially considering their initial impression of her.
  •  The Three Wives still do not forgive Takato for giving Rachel the name of their hypothetical perfect amalgamation, most likely because of what it implies. In a way, this is how they express their jealously at this “new woman”, close to their man in a way they cannot hope to match.
  •  Despite her unwavering loyalty, Rachel is still nothing but an Agenda given form. Her mindset is fundamentally different from that of humans and Supernals. She is strongly driven by two powerful forces: common sense and the knowledge that she is superior to everything except Takato. Regardless, she sees this new opportunity to interact with the world as an interesting experience.

Performance Log

Battles Joined/Won/Lost: 2/1/1

  •  As expected of the embodiment of Supremacy, Rachel’s combat style was basically identical to Adam Kadmon’s, relying on her immense available bandwidth to execute powerful codes to neutralize whatever the Three Wives threw at her before counterattacking with all sorts of esoteric effects conjured with Seder Hishtalshelus.
  •  Despite defeating the Three Wives—who were admittedly rather worn down after all the previous battles—, the time Rachel spent dealing with them allowed Takato to execute COSMO_INFERIA.
  •  While she surrendered after Takato ascertained his rulership over the entirety of existence, he insisted on not being satisfied until he had defeated her in a “real” fight. The last battle of GOSPEL was a hot-blooded clash of Supreme Being against Supreme Being.

Supernal Profile

Supernal Name (Reality Network ID): Rachel (RAHEL_BRAHMA_COSMO_INFERIA)

Entity Type: Artificial Eidolon

Agendas: Being an Agenda herself, Rachel cannot claim Agendas of her own

  •  The “Final Boss” of GOSPEL, Rachel is the Agenda of Supremacy given form, created by Adonamon for the sole purpose of fighting her.
  •  Adam’s direst opponent was always his own power he had no control over; the unwilling ability to remain unmatched no matter the circumstance. How could he claim to be the Lord of All Things if his everyday existence was controlled by his unsurpassable power?
  • To become the true Supreme Being, he had to prove himself superior to even Supremacy itself. It is for that purpose that Rachel was created: so that Takato could have an opponent to challenge, face to face.

Technique Profile – Reality Scripts

Seder Hishtalshelus – The Order of Development

(Indefinite Power, Indefinite Range, Support-type)

Technique Profile – Registered Reality Protocols

Axiom of Supremacy – Definition of Perfection (RACHEL=SUPERBIA_HALO)

This Protocol is in all ways identical to Fundamental Impossibility – Inconceivable Perfection of Adam Kadmon. Should the two Protocols come into conflict with each other, Adam’s automatically prevails, meaning Rachel’s parameters would become 100 and Adam’s 101.

Axiom of Supremacy – Wisdom of the Conquered (SUPERBIA_ANUVAZA_HALO)

Rachel is second only to the Supreme Being himself. Once she was his leash; now she gladly allows herself to be leashed. As long as she acts true to her allegiance to Adam Kadmon, she can use his Reality Protocols as if they were her own. She can never claim Adam’s RACHEL=SUPERBIA_HALO.

Supernal Serfdom – Usurpation of the Perfect Servant (NYEZOPHYA=TEIWAZ_HALO)

Rachel will do whatever is necessary to provide the ideal assistance to her Master. Should it be useful for the sake of serving Adam Kadmon, Rachel may claim any of Lilith’s, Shekinah’s or Sophia’s Reality Protocols and use it as her own.
